Kansas Distracted Driving Accidents
The roads can already be a dangerous place, and it is even worse when drivers fail to pay attention to the road. Drivers who engage in distracted habits behind the wheel have their eyes off the road nearly 10 percent of the time. Kansas ranks 2nd in the nation for rates of fatal crashes caused by distracted driving. An estimated 20 percent of deadly collisions in the state involve a distracted driver. Drivers who fail to pay attention to the road should be held responsible for any resulting injuries and damages in the event of a serious car accident.
