Kansas City, KS (February 29, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a car crash in the Kansas City area on Tuesday, February 27. The accident was reported at around 2:06 p.m. on Interstate 635 near mile marker four. Local reports revealed that two vehicles collided at the scene, and two people were hospitalized in the collision.
Local sources revealed that a 2002 Camry driven by 21-year-old Ekoue Elessessi was traveling southbound when it hit a center barrier and entered another lane. The Camry collided with a 2015 GMC driven by 52-year-old Marcus McMillian. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties.
Elessessi was transported to KU Medical Center for treatment, and McMillian was taken to Overland Park Regional. At this time, no updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been filed.
