High-Speed Collisions in Kansas
When a driver speeds, they are much more likely to cause a major auto accident. Speeding drivers are involved in about one-third of reported road fatalities in the United States, according to the National Highway Road Safety Administration (NHTSA). Speeding increases the likelihood that a driver will lose control of their car while also increasing stopping distance. Thousands of people die in this country every year as a result of this potentially fatal combo. Drivers who willingly put others at risk of serious injury by speeding should be held responsible in the event of a serious collision.
