Statistics show that rear-end collisions are the most commonly reported type of crash in the United States. With nearly 2 million of these accidents taking place each year, it should come as no surprise. These accidents often involve negligent or otherwise distracted drivers who are unable to stop in time to crash into the vehicle ahead of them. More than 1,700 people are killed and 500,000 are injured in rear-end collisions each year. When drivers fail to pay attention to the road and cause a serious auto accident, it can be difficult to recover on your own.
