Kansas Distracted Driving Crashes
On Kansas roads, driver distraction has grown to be a major issue. Distracted driving was a factor in 18.1 percent of Kansas traffic accidents recorded in 2021. Each year in the United States, distracted drivers claim the lives of over 3,000 people, and many more suffer life-changing injuries. Talking to a passenger, fiddling with the radio, and sending texts while driving all distract from the road. According to statistics, distracted drivers take their eyes off the road almost 10 percent of the time, which is more than enough to cause a serious crash. If you or a loved one sustains injuries in an automobile accident, you should be ready to seek compensation by working with an experienced attorney.
