Overland Park, KS (May 20, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a vehicle collision in the Overland Park area on Sunday, May 19. The incident was reported that evening around 8:31 p.m. at the corner of W. 135th Street and US-69. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties.
The area was temporarily closed while authorities were present to assist at the scene. At least one person involved in the crash sustained injuries. The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for further support after being treated at the scene. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties are currently available.
