El Dorado, KS (May 31, 2024) – Two people were hurt following a single-vehicle accident in the El Dorado area on Thursday, May 30. The accident was reported on Interstate 35 near mile marker 82.2 that afternoon around 12:45 p.m. Local reports revealed that 43-year-old Charles Cruze of Fayetteville, NC, was driving a 2020 GMC Terrain at a high rate of speed when he lost control due to roadway conditions.
The GMC spun out and entered a nearby ditch, causing the vehicle to be disabled. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. Both Cruze and his passenger, 36-year-old Renee Hudson of Dwight, were injured in the accident. The severity of the resulting damages has not been determined.
