The incident took place on US-40 WB near K-25 late that evening around 7:07 p.m. Local reports revealed that 49-year-old Steven Leroy Albers of Winona was traveling westbound in a 2004 Dodge Durango when the passenger rear tire blew.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
