Overland Park, KS (June 26, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a car wreck in the Overland Park area on Tuesday, June 25. The accident happened at the intersection of W. 159th Street and Grant Street that evening around 7:39 p.m. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

The roadway was temporarily closed as paramedics were present to support the crash victims. The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital for further treatment. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris.
