Stop Sign Collisions in Kansas
Drivers in Kansas pass through a lot of intersections during their everyday commutes. However, we should probably be more cautious when doing so. Statistics show that intersections are a common site for serious auto accidents. In most cases, the driver who is at fault does not yield the right-of-way. Intersection collisions are among the worst on the road, and statistics show that they cause almost half of all accidents in the country that result in serious injuries and around 20 percent of traffic fatalities. Many motorists cross red lights or stop signs, which increases the risk of them colliding with an oncoming vehicle. Roughly one-third of the 700,000 crashes at stop-sign-controlled crossings each year result in reported injuries.
