Minneapolis, KS - Injuries in Two-Car Collision on US-81

Minneapolis, KS (July 8, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a car accident outside of Minneapolis on Sunday, July 7. The accident was reported on US-81 near mile marker 162.7 that afternoon around 3:44 p.m. Local reports revealed that a 2023 Toyota Camry was traveling ahead of a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban at the time of the crash. 

The driver of the Chevy, 47-year-old Dana Dramse of Grand Island, NE, made a lane change in order to pass the Camry, when the Toyota’s driver, 57-year-old Bridget Jeannette Omotosho, also changed lanes. Dramse attempted a maneuver to avoid crashing into the other vehicle but was unable to do so. The two cars collided. Omotosho and a passenger in the Chevy, 48-year-old Michelle Dramse also from Grand Island, were injured in the collision. No updates on their conditions have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress, and more information will be made public as it continues.
