Great Bend, KS (July 14, 2024) – Two men were hospitalized after a motorcycle accident in the Great Bend area on Saturday, July 13. The crash was reported on US-281 north of US-56 around 11:15 a.m. It was reported that the victims were traveling with a group of other motorcyclists headed southbound at the time of the crash.
One of the men was traveling near the front of the group when a baseball cap flew off his head. He slowed down to grab it when he was hit by another motorcyclist. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene, and both parties were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries.
