Wichita, KS (July 30, 2024) – There were critical injuries after a hit-and-run accident in the Wichita area on Sunday, July 28. The incident was reported at the corner of E. Central Avenue and N. Bristol Street late that evening, around 10 p.m. Local reports revealed that a motorcyclist was headed westbound when an eastbound Honda failed to yield the right of way.
The Honda hit the motorcycle, ejecting the rider. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, and the injured motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid. The vehicle, a white Honda CRV, was later found at the 500 block of Bristol Court. The driver was later located and is currently facing charges related to the crash. No further updates are currently available.
