Overland Park, KS (August 7, 2024) – At least one person was injured following a traffic accident in the Overland Park area on Tuesday, August 6. The collision was reported at the intersection of Lamar Avenue and W. 141st Street that morning around 10:38 a.m. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to render the necessary aid.
There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed while authorities were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris to reopen the area to outside traffic.
