Kansas Distracted Driving Accidents
Across the country, one of the main factors contributing to fatal car crashes is distracted driving. In Kansas, there were 84 documented collisions last year that were caused by distracted drivers. Texting while driving is one of the worst distracted driving behaviors, with statistics showing that distracted drivers take their eyes off the road over 10 percent of the time. You could easily travel the length of a football field at highway speeds in the time it takes to send one text message. This is more than enough distance and time to cause a disastrous car accident. If a reckless driver hurts you and you want to pursue a full recovery, make sure you can file a personal injury claim with the help of an accomplished lawyer.
