Deadly Intersection Crashes in Kansas
Every day, drivers in Kansas travel through a lot of intersections. Statistics indicate that there is a higher chance of crashes in these areas of the road. A high number of drivers run stop signs and red lights, which raises the possibility of collision with an approaching vehicle. An estimated 33 percent of the 700,000 collisions at stop-sign-controlled crossings annually involve injuries. According to statistics, major car accidents typically occur near an intersection. Usually, the negligent driver fails to yield the right-of-way. Since they are responsible for more than half of all accidents in the nation that result in serious injuries and about 20 percent of traffic fatalities, intersection crashes are among the worst on the road.
