Overland Park, KS (August 25, 2024) – Overland Park Mayor Curt Skoog was injured after a car crash on Saturday afternoon, August 24, according to authorities who responded to the site of the incident.
Mayor Skoog was involved in a vehicle crash in Kansas City, not far from Highway 69. That said, it’s unclear if anybody else was hurt in the crash. The cause of the crash is unknown as well, though officers are still piecing together the events leading up to the incident in the interim. Skoog is reportedly recovering in the hospital, but no additional details were released in the meantime.
