Kansas City, KS (October 9, 2024) – Two people were hurt after a vehicle collision in Kansas City on Tuesday, October 8. The accident took place on Interstate 70 WB near mile marker 414.1 in Wyandotte County at around 1:39 a.m. Local reports revealed that 28-year-old Leonardo D’Angelo Richburg of Virginia Beach, VA, was stopped in a 2024 Honda four-door vehicle for unknown reasons.
It was then that a 2023 Hyundai Elantra driven by 22-year-old Harrison Alexander Boehm of Shawnee crashed into the rear of the Honda. The Hyundai came to a rest in the median, and the Honda came to a stop off the road. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. Both drivers were injured in the crash and transported to the Kansas University Medical Center by ambulance for treatment. No updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress.
