Lawrence, KS (October 21, 2024) – On Saturday, October 19, there were confirmed injuries following a traffic accident in the Overland Park area. The accident was reported at the corner of W. 25th Street and Iowa Street that afternoon around 3:52 p.m. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel at the scene.
The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further support. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the site of the resulting wreckage and other debris in order to reopen the roadway.
