Deadly Semi-Truck Crashes in Kansas

Wichita, KS - Two Killed in Pileup Truck Crash on I-35Large trucks are all over Kansas roads. Over 500,000 significant semi-truck collisions are reported on American roadways each year, resulting in over 5,000 fatalities and countless more catastrophic injuries. Massive rigs can weigh up to 70,000 pounds when fully loaded, and trucks are hazardous in collisions with passenger cars. Due to pressure to put in lengthy hours on the road, truck drivers frequently make poor decisions that end in catastrophic crashes, which greatly increases the risk of an unplanned collision.
