Motorcycle Accidents in Kansas
In Kansas, motorcycling is a popular pastime. However, even the most experienced riders are aware of how unsafe it can be to ride. In the United States, motorcycles are disproportionately involved in traffic fatalities. Riders are four times more likely to be injured in an accident and nearly 28 times more likely to die than passengers in a car. Less than 3 percent of documented crashes countrywide involve motorcycles, although they are considered to be involved in 14 percent of traffic fatalities. Recovering from severe injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash can be challenging.
