Dodge City, KS – Injuries Reported Following T-Bone Collision on U.S. 50

Dodge City, KS (January 13, 2025) – A T-bone collision on Friday morning, January 10, 2025, resulted in injuries in Ford County, Kansas. The crash occurred at approximately 9:42 a.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 50 near milepost 117, about 4.8 miles west of U.S. Highway 283. The accident involved a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country minivan and a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

According to reports, the driver of the Chrysler, identified as Gage Brendan Ritchie, 20, of Kinsley, Kansas, failed to yield at a stop sign, entering the intersection and striking the Chevrolet. The impact left Alicia Cervantes, 28, of Dodge City, Kansas, with suspected minor injuries. She was transported to St. Catherine Hospital for treatment. Mr. Ritchie did not report any injuries and was not transported. Both drivers were reported to have been wearing safety restraints at the time of the crash. Local law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
