Head-on Collisions in Kansas
In Kansas, driving is a way of life, and reckless driving is commonplace. Serious car accidents happen regularly on the state’s roads, but some types of crashes are more likely to cause serious or even fatal injuries. When two cars traveling in opposite directions collide, it is known as a head-on collision. For obvious reasons, these are more likely to be fatal. Head-on collisions cause thousands of fatalities every year and, on average, account for 10 percent of all catastrophes, despite making up less than 2 percent of all reported crashes in the United States.
