Garden City, KS (March 26, 2024) – Two people were hurt after a collision in the Garden City area on Monday, March 25. The crash was reported that afternoon at around 2:51 p.m. on US-50 near US-83 in Finney County. A 2011 Nissan Murano driven by 33-year-old Sayadul Amin of Garden City lost control due to icy roads and spun out in the median.
The Nissan re-entered the highway where it was rear-ended by a 2016 Rogue Nissan driven by 59-year-old Herve Sanon also of Garden City. Herve and their passenger, 46-year-old Enita Ellie of Garden City, were transported to St. Catherine Hospital for treatment. No other information has been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
