Genessee, KS (March 2, 2024) – A passenger was injured following a two-vehicle crash outside of Genessee on Friday, March 1. The collision was reported at around 4:34 p.m. at the Interstate 670 EB near mile marker one. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties.
Local reports revealed that a 20024 Honda Odyssey driven by 19-year-old Daniel Gotsch of Manhattan was traveling eastbound when he rear-ended a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by 32-year-old Ryan C. Herrington of Independence, MO. A passenger in the Honda, 17-year-old Isabella Gotsch, was transported to KU Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries.
