Stop Sign Crashes in Kansas
In Kansas, people pass through several intersections every day. Statistics show that these places can be pretty dangerous for regular drivers. A lot of people ignore stop signs and red lights, which makes it more likely that they will hit another car coming their way. About one-third of the 700,000 accidents that happen every year at stop-sign-controlled crossings result in injuries, and statistics back up the fact that intersections are hotspots for life-changing collisions. A lot of the time, the driver who is at fault fails to yield when needed. According to the data, about half of all injury accidents in the country and 20 percent of all traffic deaths happen at intersections.
