Rear-end Crashes in Kansas
Certain crashes are hard to avoid. A great example is a rear-end impact. Rear-end collisions are one of the most common in the United States, with the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimating that they cause nearly six percent of all road fatalities annually and roughly 28 percent of all documented wrecks nationwide. Over 1.7 million rear-end crashes occur each year, resulting in over 500,000 injuries and 1,700 fatalities. Statistics show that the majority of these accidents involve drivers who are not paying attention to the road leaving them unable to stop in time to avoid a car ahead that stops suddenly.
