Highland, KS (June 3, 2024) – On Sunday, June 2, a driver was injured after a collision in the Highland area. The accident was reported in Clay County at the intersection of US-24 and Utah Road that afternoon, around 1:30 p.m. Reports from the Kansas Highway Patrol revealed that 92-year-old Marion Paul Brenner of Randolph was traveling southbound on Utah Road in a 2017 Hyundai Sonata at the time of the accident.
A westbound 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by 44-year-old Jeff Bradey Sells of Mankato collided with the Hyundai. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene. Brenner was transported by ambulance to Clay County Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. Neither Sells nor his passenger were injured in the crash. No additional information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
