Hutchinson, KS (September 9, 2024) – There were multiple injuries reported after a two-vehicle crash in the Hutchinson area on Sunday, September 8. The accident was reported near the corner of K-14 and Trail West Road early that morning, around 8:05 a.m. Local reports revealed that 22-year-old Arundhathrik R. Induri of Norman was traveling eastbound in a 2022 Buick Enclave on Trail West Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign.
At the same time, a 2015 Toyota Sienna minivan driven by 33-year-old Lucinda F. Miller of Hutchinson was traveling north on K-14 and entered the intersection. The Buick hit the side of the Toyota, causing the minivan to leave the roadway to the right and hit a nearby building. Emergency crews were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. Two passengers in the Enclave, 24-year-old Rahul Katayam and 25-year-old Keerthana Nampally, both from Norman, were injured in the crash and transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment. Miller and another occupant of the Sienna, a juvenile, were also hurt and transported to the same medical facility by ambulance. No further information is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
