Kansas City, KS (April 12, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a pileup collision in Kansas City on Thursday, April 11. The accident was reported that afternoon around 5:05 p.m. on Interstate 635 SB near Shawnee Drive. A 2005 Scion TC driven by 35-year-old Robert Molder of Kansas City, MO, was traveling southbound in the third lane leading up to the collision.
Local reports revealed that Molder collided with the rear of a 2007 Ford Edge driven by 25-year-old Kaitlyn Rogers of Kansas City, KS. The impact caused Rogers to crash into the back of a 2021 Honda CR-V driven by 23-year-old Jenna Gass of Overland Park. Gass was transported to the Kansas University Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress.
