Kansas City, KS (April 20, 2024) – On Friday, April 19, there were confirmed injuries after a crash in Kansas City at 9:40 p.m. on US-73 near Parallel Parkway. A 2013 Ford SUV driven by 33-year-old Jordan G. Robinette of Leavenworth was traveling northbound leading up to the incident.
At the same time, a 2019 GMC SUV driven by 38-year-old Krystal N. Schratter of Kansas City and a 2020 Nissan SUV driven by 38-year-old Kaley R. Nevill of Junction City were also headed north on the highway. For unknown reasons, Robinette attempted an evasive maneuver when it collided with the GMC before also hitting the Nissan. Nevill was injured and transported to Overland Park Regional Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No other injuries were reported in the crash. The vehicles involved were towed from the scene. No further updates are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
