Kansas City, KS (August 31, 2024) – There were multiple injuries reported after a two-vehicle collision in the Kansas City area on Friday, August 30. The accident was reported on Interstate 35 near mile marker 232.6 north of 18th Street late that night around 10:18 p.m. Local reports indicated that the driver of an unknown vehicle was acting erratically while traveling southbound on the interstate when they lost control and collided with a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 62-year-old Scott A. Taylor of Overland Park. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Taylor and his three passengers, identified as 61-year-old Cecelia C. Taylor, 63-year-old Douglass D. Fuller, and 58-year-old Sandra R. Fuller, all from Overland Park, were hurt in the collision. All four parties were transferred by ambulance to the Kansas University Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
