Kansas City, KS (July 26, 2024) – There were multiple injuries reported after a vehicle collision in the Kansas City area on Thursday, July 25. The accident was reported at the corner of Leavenworth Road and N. 35th Street that afternoon around 3:25 p.m. Local reports revealed that 40-year-old Talia Eve Lockhart of Kansas City was driving a 2012 Mazda 5 headed northbound when she collided with a westbound 2003 Cadillac DeVille.
Lockhart reportedly failed to yield the right of the way to the oncoming Cadillac. Emergency crews were dispatched to provide the necessary aid. The driver of the DeVille, 23-year-old Dejaria Imari Guillory of Kansas City, was injured in the crash, along with their two passengers, 40-year-old Germara Dion Guillory of Coffeyville and an 18-year-old Kansas City resident. All three victims were transported by ambulance to Truman Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries. No additional information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
