Move Over Laws: Preventing Accidents Around Emergency Vehicles
Accidents like this emphasize the importance of adhering to move-over laws and driving cautiously near emergency vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), failing to give space to stopped emergency vehicles results in hundreds of preventable crashes every year.
