Motorcycle Accidents in Kansas
In Kansas, riding a motorcycle is a popular pastime, and even the most experienced riders are aware of the significant risk of hitting the road. Motorcycle riders are disproportionately involved in fatal collisions nationwide. Riders are four times more likely to suffer a major injury in an accident and nearly 28 times more likely to die than passengers in a car. Motorcycles make up less than 3 percent of all registered vehicles in the country, yet are estimated to be involved in 14 percent of traffic deaths. Recovering from severe injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash can be challenging.
