Kansas City, KS (May 15, 2024) – On Tuesday, May 14, two people were injured after a vehicle collision in the Kansas City area. The accident was reported on Interstate 70 EB near mile marker 421 in Wyandotte County that evening around 7:45 p.m. Local reports revealed that two vehicles were traveling eastbound on the interstate at the time of the accident.
Local reports revealed that 67-year-old Robert O’Dell of Omaha, NE was driving a 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck on the highway as a 2010 Buick Lacrosse driven by 37-year-old Courtney Moore of Keokuk, IA was traveling behind him. For unknown reasons, Moore crashed into the rear of O’Dell’s pickup. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Both drivers were treated at the scene for sustained injuries. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided at this time. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
