Kinsley, KS (July 23, 2024) – There were fatal injuries reported in a two-vehicle crash in the Kinsley area on Monday, July 22. The deadly crash was reported on US-50 near US-183 early that morning around 6:30 a.m. Local reports indicated that 41-year-old Ronald R. Crabb of Raton, NM, was headed eastbound in a 2011 Toyota Camry when the vehicle went left of center.
The Camry collided with an oncoming 2022 Peterbilt semi-truck driven by 36-year-old Trenton C. Winter of Mount Hope. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Crabb sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased was later transported to McKillip Funeral Home. No other injuries were reported in the collision. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it continues.
