Speeding drivers are involved in about one-third of reported road fatalities in the United States, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Speeding increases the likelihood that a driver will lose control of their car and greatly increases the necessary distance to come to a full stop. Thousands of people die in this country every year as a result of this potentially fatal combo. Speeding is known to be incredibly dangerous and increases the risk of a crash, so if a driver willfully exceeds the speed limit and causes a serious crash, you need to be prepared to pursue a strong personal injury claim with the help of a qualified attorney.
