Lawrence, KS (March 3, 2024) – At least one person was hurt in the aftermath of a car crash in the Lawrence area on Friday afternoon, March 1. The collision was reported at around 2:47 p.m. at the crossing of Crestline Drive and Bob Billings Parkway. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been confirmed.
The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further treatment.
The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were used to clear the scene and reopen the area to outside traffic. No further information on the accident is currently available, and more updates will be released as they become available.
