Lawrence, KS (May 9, 2024) – On Tuesday, May 7, there were reported injuries in the aftermath of a vehicle collision in the Lawrence area. The accident was reported early that morning around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Crossgate Drive and W. 24th Terrace. At least one person was reportedly injured according to initial reports.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized for additional aid. At this time, the severity and number of the related injuries have not been confirmed. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic.
