Kansas Distracted Driving Accidents
Distracted driving is one of the riskiest things you can do when operating a vehicle. Between 2017 and 2021, there were around 14,000 recorded fatal distracted driving collisions across the country. Distracted driving claimed the lives of 3,522 people in the United States in 2021 alone. Roughly 10 percent of the time, distracted drivers lose concentration on the road, increasing their chance of getting into a potentially hazardous collision. The fact that distracted drivers were involved in almost 17 percent of all auto accidents in Kansas in 2022 shows that the problem of distracted driving has become more common in recent years.
