Kansas Reckless Driving Accidents
The road is dangerous enough when people follow all the rules. When a driver isn’t looking at the road, it is downright deadly to drive. Distracted driving is a major safety risk in Kansas and across the United States. Statistics show that drivers who are distracted have their eyes off the road nearly 10 percent of the time. There are many ways to be distracted on the road, but texting is probably one of the most popular. You can travel the length of a football field in the time it takes to send a single text while traveling on the highway. Every year, these kinds of accidents kill more than 3,000 people and hurt another 400,000.
