High-Speed Collisions in Kansas
When you drive too fast, you put everyone on the road, including yourself, in danger. A major car accident is also much more likely to happen when a driver exceeds the speed limit. It’s harder to control your car when speeding, and it’s even harder when the roads are wet. In the United States alone, speeding motorists killed more than 12,000 people in 2021—that’s more than 33 people every day. About 22 percent of fatal speeding accidents happen on roads that are wet or snowy. After a major accident, it can be hard to get back on your feet on your own.
