Rear-End Collisions: A Common Cause of Injuries
Rear-end collisions are among the most frequent types of car accidents, often caused by distracted driving, tailgating, or sudden stops. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), rear-end crashes account for nearly 29% of all traffic accidents in the United States, leading to thousands of injuries annually. These accidents can have serious consequences, even at low speeds, as the sudden force can result in whiplash, back injuries, and other conditions requiring long-term care.
