Manhattan, KS (April 5, 2024) – On Wednesday, April 3, three people were injured after a multi-vehicle collision in the Manhattan area. The accident took place at the crossing of Claflin Road and Seth Child Road that afternoon around 2 p.m. Three vehicles reportedly collided at the scene.
It was later reported that a Big Lakes Developmental Center bus and two other vehicles were involved in the crash. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. A total of three people were hospitalized as a result of the collision. Two of the victims were later transferred via life-flight to Stormont Vail Health Center in Topeka due to worsening injuries. No further updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
