Kansas Reckless Driving Crashes
Using a phone behind the wheel is against the law. However, more and more drivers will admit to engaging in this reckless habit. Distracted driving is becoming a bigger cause of fatal car accidents in Kansas and across the country. In the time it takes to send a single text message, you could travel the length of a football field, which is more than enough to cause a life-changing crash. Things like texting, talking to a passenger, and fiddling with the GPS are all examples of distracted driving, and each of these habits can take your focus off the road and greatly increase the risk of a crash. It is a simple fact that if you take your eyes off the road, you’re more likely to get into a crash. It might be hard to get better on your own after a serious accident.
