Kansas Distracted Driving Accidents
Across the country, one of the most common causes of catastrophic auto accidents is distracted driving. In Kansas last year, there were 84 documented crashes attributed to distracted driving. Distracted driving can cause you to take your eyes off the road roughly 10 percent of the time, and texting while driving is extremely dangerous. You could easily travel the length of a football field at highway speeds in the time it takes to send one text message. This is more than enough distance and time to cause a disastrous car accident. If you are hurt by a reckless driver and want to pursue a recovery, make sure you can collaborate with a trained lawyer to get started on a personal injury claim.
