Kansas Distracted Driving Crashes
Distracted driving has quickly become a major contributing factor to devastating car crashes in the United States. In Kansas, many drivers have a bad habit of using their phones. At highway speeds, you can travel the length of a football field in the time it takes to send one text message. In the last year alone, distracted driving claimed the lives of over 3,200 Americans and left over 400,000 with serious injuries. Talking to a passenger, tinkering with the GPS, or texting while driving are all examples of distracted driving that can increase the risk of a sudden collision. It can be difficult to pursue a recovery on your own following a severe crash. You should partner with a trained lawyer to pursue a claim for compensation.
