Overland Park, KS (October 17, 2024) – At least one person was injured following a car accident in the Overland Park area on Wednesday, October 16. The collision was reported at the intersection of Quivira Road and W. 127th Street that morning around 7:30 a.m. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to render the necessary aid.
There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed while authorities were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris to reopen the area to outside traffic. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
