Distracted Driving Crashes in Kansas
Distracted driving is one of the leading causes of catastrophic auto accidents nationwide. There were 84 recorded collisions in Kansas last year linked to distracted driving. Statistics show that distracted drivers have their eyes off the road nearly 10 percent of the time, and texting and driving is one of the worst offenders. In the time it takes to send one text message, you could easily travel at highway speeds the length of a football field. This is enough time and distance to result in a catastrophic auto collision. If an irresponsible driver causes you harm and you wish to seek compensation, be sure you can work with an experienced attorney to file a personal injury claim.
